PIZZAIOLA

INGREDIENTS :

¼ cup Gallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 garlic clove, peeled
6 thin slices of beef, 5 oz. each
1 can Unico Whole Tomatoes drained and coarsely chopped
salt and freshly ground pepper
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh oregano

PREPARATION: Heat the olive oil with the garlic in a cast iron skillet over high heat. Add the meat and brown on both sides. Add the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat. Sprinkle the oregano over the meat and tomatoes, partially cover pan and cook for 20 minutes more to reduce the sauce before serving.
